Sumit Chanda |
This site is edited by Dr.
Sumit Chanda. He is a great-grandson of Pandit Srinath Chanda
(1851-1938, the noted Brahmo scholar and leader). Sumit was born in
Calcutta, India, and has lived in England since the age of ten. He
graduated from Oxford University and has a PhD from Surrey University.
He is an Associate Partner at Atos Consulting. He is a member the London Brahmo Samaj.

Supriya Chanda |
Mrs. Supriya Chanda has
contributed the article on the "History of the Brahmo
Samaj". She is the granddaughter of Chandicharan Bandopadhyay
(the eminent Brahmo Bengali writer). Born in Bengal, Supriya has spent
more than half her life in London. While in India she was actively
involved in the Brahmo Samajes at Jamshedpur and Asansol (where she
was the secretary of the Samaj). Currently she is a member of
the Richmond Unitarian Church in London, and is a preacher at the London Brahmo Samaj. Educated in
Calcutta and London, she has worked as a Montessori teacher and at
British Gas. She is currently retired, and now concentrates on writing
and translating.

Manju Chaudhuri |
Mrs. Manju Chaudhuri's was born in India. Her
grandfather was the nephew of Rajnarayan Bose - an eminent leader and
thinker of the Brahmo Samaj. She graduated from Scottish Church
College in Calcutta, and then did her M.A. from Calcutta
University. She came to England as a teacher in 1964, and taught
in London and Slough. She did a Diploma in teaching at the
Institute of Education, London University. She is now
retired. She has been closely associated with the London Brahmo Samaj since 1965.

Kalyansri Dasgupta |
Dr. Kalyansri Dasgupta is an
electrical engineer cum cost accountant who retired from the Calcutta
Electric Supply Corp. in 1996 after 37 years of service. Since 1967 he
has been a minister of the Brahmo Samaj in Calcutta. His maternal
grandfather was Brahmo preacher in Chittagong, now in Bangladesh. Dr.
Dasgupta is an author of several papers on Engineering, Finance,
Management, Philosophy and Religion presented at international seminars,
including the congresses of the "International Association for
Religious Freedom". He is married with two adult children.
